We presented the Concept of Physical Education: learning should be consistent and clear for children.

The document explains state standards, outlines current challenges facing the industry, proposes long-term solutions, and provides a comprehensive vision of how education should be structured from grades 1 to 12. Schools should not only impart knowledge, but also teach students how to apply it, preparing them for life in today's changing world.

The concept was developed by an expert group of practicing teachers, authors of state standards, and candidates of sciences within the framework of “Education for Life” — a comprehensive policy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It is part of the “New Ukrainian School” reform and aims to continue and strengthen it.

👉 What can be found in the concept?

  • Detailed objectives for each cycle in the sector.

  • Identified challenges and ways to overcome them.

  • Collected results and competencies from three state standards (for primary, basic, and secondary schools) for each field.

  • A holistic vision of how education should be structured from grades 1 to 12 — consistently, logically, and taking into account interdisciplinary connections.

We would like to highlight our practicing teachers, authors of state standards, and candidates of science who contributed to the creation of the Concept: Galina Kolomoets, Oleksiy Karabut, Andriy Bolyak, Maria Hloba, Oksana Melnychenko, Mykola Niga, Nataliya Sorokolit, Inna Omelianenko, Svitlana Zinina-Bykova, and Liana Kopylova. It is their experience, daily work in classrooms, ideas, and achievements that formed the basis of this document.
